Happy Friday Peoples!
Hope you are all enjoying your Valentines Day or whatever it is that people like to celebrate today.
There's a lot going on tomorrow so please do read this in it's entirety.
We are starting later than usual tomorrow. As mentioned last week, we will be linking up with a few crews and groups at the start. WRU CRU is bringing their annual COCO 5K downtown tomorrow, BRIDGERUNNERS and MOTIV will be doing their annual Polar Plunge down to the Rockaways and we will be hosting our usual long run that stays a bit more local. The plan will be for ALL OF US to start the run together at 9:30.
Those that want to run the 5K or our 11 Miler, the meet up with be @ 8:45 at the Nike Lafayette location where we will provide our usual bag drop. Those going down to the beach will be meeting up @ MOTIV for bag drop before heading over to the Nike space. The OMRC long run will break off from BRIDGERUNNERS @ Berry and Grand. We'll make sure there's a short stop at the corner to ensure people are with the right group. From there we will continue our route into Astoria and over the 59th Street Bridge and head back downtown for cocoa leftovers.
It'll be super important to pay attention so that you remain with the distance you're going for tomorrow. Again, we provide everyone with OUR route so that you know where we will be heading and can also plan to drop out if necessary.
The Nike spot will be open UNTIL 12:30PM at which point every will need to vacate the premise.
