Hey everyone,
For those of you who’ve been running with us, you’ve witnessed the incredible growth of OMRC since we began our group runs back in 2018.
With that growth, we’ve also faced new challenges — from safety concerns to the logistics of managing such a large community. After a lot of thoughtful discussion, we’ve made the decision to, starting Monday July 28, transition OMRC from an open, free club to a membership-based model.
Why? Because we want to continue building something safe, sustainable, intentional, and meaningful for everyone involved, us included.
The cost? Similar to what we did with Oasis in 2021, we’re introducing a nominal annual membership fee of $85 - a number we feel is fair and helps us continue to deliver (and even elevate) the experiences that brought you here in the first place.
While the core vibe of OMRC isn’t changing, here’s what you’ll get as a member:
-
Access to our HEYLO platform, where all communication will now live
-
Guided Saturday Long Runs
-
Bag check and hydration support (mobile or static)
-
Access to OMRC member-only Product (Varsity Jackets, Nike Seasonal Racing Singlets, etc.)
-
Access to partner-provided products (Nike, Oakley)
-
Early access to OMRC activations (LNY run, Holiday Party, special event transport, etc.) **while spots last
-
Early access to OMRC product releases **while supplies last
-
Access to seasonal training programs (e.g., Spring/Fall Marathon plans)
-
Discounts through current and future brand partnerships
And this list will only grow as we continue to evolve.
If you're new or visiting and want to just see what we're all about, shoot us a DM - we'd love to have you. After all, our mission remains the same: to make running longer distances accessible for all levels. There will also be larger community wide moments where you will have the opportunity to join us!
For those of you who are interested in joining we’ll be sending out a membership link on Monday the 28th. If you have any questions please email us at: info@oldmanrunclub.com
We’re excited about this next chapter and grateful to have you with us.
