Happy Thursday!
This Saturday we are running in remembrance of our friend Alex. The route takes us through his old neighborhood of Canarsie, a small loop of the Shirley Chisholm trails and finishing in Canarsie Piers. It also just so happens to be his birthday! so what better way to celebrate him than to run a route he regularly ran, with trails he loved and always spoke about.
We will also be joining Asian Trail Mix, BRidgerunners, Define and Resident Runners and are asking everyone who is joining to please RSPV in link below.
It will be a point to point run, with meet up right off the Broadway Junction stop of the A, J , or L trains. The run will end at Canarie Pier where your checked bags will be waiting for you. Total mileage around 6.5 miles.
